Blood donation campaign carried out in the National Army (video)

CHISINAU, March 31, 2023 — The military and civilian employees of the National Army donated blood and plasma, between March 22-30, current, within the campaign with the generic “A spring of dreams, full of giving life”. The action was organized jointly with the National Blood Transfusion Center.

According to the head of the Medical-Military Directorate of the Great General Staff, Colonel Alexandru Leșan, more than 400 servicemen on term and on contract, students of the “Alexandru cel Bun” Military Academy, as well as civil servants, donated blood at the collection points in the military units in the Chisinau, Balti and Cahul garrisons.

The source mentioned that in 2022, about 2,000 conscripted and enlisted military, as well as civilian employees of the National Army, voluntarily donated blood and plasma in campaigns organized in partnership with specialized institutions in the country.
