DCBI experts, on a working visit to the Ministry of Defence

CHISINAU, May 27, 2023 — Between May 22-26, 2023, at the Ministry of Defense, the working visit of the group of experts responsible for the implementation of projects within the Defense Capacity Building Initiative (DCBI) took place.

The competent subdivisions within the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the National Army, together with DCBI experts, addressed a series of strategic objectives for the development of the National Army, strategic planning and human resources management, as well as identified the external assistance necessary to achieve them.

We remind you that the Republic of Moldova joined the DCB Initiative in 2015 and completed the first stage of implementation, with the approval of policy documents in the field of national defense and military security, especially the National Defense Strategy and the Military Strategy.

Currently, the institution is at the stage of implementing projects on strategic planning, human resource management system development, sergeant corps development, cyber defense and other areas of the security and defense sector.
