Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi, official visit to Bucharest

CHISINĂU, May 23, 2024 — Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi is making an official visit to Bucharest on Friday, May 24, at the invitation of his Romanian counterpart, Angel Tîlvăr.

On this occasion, the two officials will have a meeting, during which they will discuss the current state of bilateral cooperation, the joint projects and activities carried out, as well as the prospects for strengthening the partnership.

In Bucharest, Anatolie Nosatîi, together with Angel Tîlvăr, will participate in the 8th edition of the event “Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum”, an international security conference, dedicated to issues of defense, security and international relations in the extended region of the Black Sea and the Balkans.

The event, organized on May 23-24 by the “New Strategy Centre”, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense of Romania, offers a platform for discussions regarding the war in Ukraine, its effects on regional and global security, threats hybrids, but also the reconstruction process of Ukraine.
