The Government of the Republic of Moldova invites citizens to the program: „Celebrating Europe - a symbol of peace, freedom and solidarity”, held in the Great National Assembly Square

CHISINAU, May 8, 2024 — On May 9, citizens are invited to celebrate Europe Day in the Great National Assembly Square.

The event agenda includes:

11:40 — The European town opens its doors to visitors;

12:00 — Inaugural speeches of the Europe Day in Moldova by the President Maia Sandu and the European Commissioner for Budget and Administration, Johannes Hahn. In the Government pavilion, members of the Cabinet of Ministers will talk about how we can build a European Moldova together.

The technical and equipment exhibition of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Customs Service opens;

13:00 — Excursions for visitors to the Government House begin;

19:00 — Concert by Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici & Orchestra, LUPII lui Calancea, Kalush Orchestra, Hecenii Dance Ensemble and others.
