Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi pays official visit to Latvia

CHISINAU, April 2, 2024 — Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi will pay an official visit to Riga on April 3-4 at the invitation of his Latvian counterpart Andris Sprūds.

The officials will discuss the bilateral partnership between the two defense institutions and its development prospects, the current regional security situation, the assistance packages offered to Moldova in the context of modernization of the defense capabilities of the National Army, as well as other topics of common interest.

The Moldovan delegation is also expected to hold official meetings with representatives of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Riga Centre of Excellence in Strategic Communication.
