National Army Musicians Perform at the International Festival of Military Bands in Germany

CHISINAU, November 6, 2015 — The Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Moldova participates in the International Festival of Military Bands “Berlin Tattoo 2015”, held in Berlin, Germany, within November 7-8.

This year, 41 National Army musicians of the aerophone Orchestra will present an instrumental program from Presidential Orchestra’s repertoire.

The Festival is held yearly and brings together over 800 instrumentalists, dancers, and singers from military orchestras. The program comprises military marches, symphonic, pop, and rock compositions.

The National Army Military Orchestras have been participating in international music festivals since 1997. So far, the Moldovan musicians have performed in Belgium, Germany, Romania, and the Russian Federation.
