History of Country and Army in Summer Camps
CHISINAU, June 28, 2013 — The Military Mass-Media Center of the Defense Ministry, in partnering with the Department of Youth Broadcasts of Radio Moldova, conducted the project “Know the history of the country and the army” in the summer camp “Cristiano” from Slobozia Dusca village, Criuleni.
According to the Director of “Cristiano” Camp, Oleg Ogor, the action is very useful for the intellectual development and military-patriotic education of children, who are resting in camps. “By conducting many cognitive activities, soldiers and employees of ‘Teleradio-Moldova’ Company successfully promote the values of our nation and the history of the Republic of Moldova. Thus, we are able to combine efforts to educate citizens and true patriots of our country”, Oleg Ogor said.
During the event, children became familiar with new models of military uniform, watched a program of wrestling techniques, presented by Special Forces Battalion “Fulger”, and participated in competitions, being awarded gifts, books and magazines from “Teleradio-Moldova” Company, Specialist Trainjng Center of the National Army, Center of Military History and Culture and the Military Mass-Media Center of the Ministry of Defense.
At the end, children sang together with the national artist Ricki Ardezianu.
The event brought together children from the districts of Criuleni, Ialoveni and Chisinau, who spend their summer holidays at “Cristiano” camp from Slobozia Dusca village, Criuleni.
The project "Know the history of the country and army" is conducted for the third time by the Ministry of Defense, in common with IPNA „Teleradio Moldova”, in summer camps for children and teenagers, based on the cooperation agreement signed by the institutions on August 8, 2011. The first edition of the project was held in a summer camp from Ivancea village, Orhei.
