The ceremony of the Raising of the Flag, at the Ministry of Defense(video)

CHISINAU, February 3, 2020 — The staff of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the National Army and the units deployed in the military camp 123 participated in a formal military ceremony and at the flag-raising.

The event, held in the presence of the commander of the National Army, brigadier general Igor Gorgan, was held at the initiative of Minister Victor Gaiciuc.

During the ceremony, the Minister of Defense mentioned the importance of organizing such activities for the development of the spirit of patriotism among the military, who by honoring the anthem and honoring the State Flag means that they are on duty, love their country and praise Tricolor, which is an unmistakable value of any nation.

“I wish that every working week should start in this way because the officers and NCO of the National Army must be an example for all citizens of the Republic of Moldova. They are the ones who must first of all respect the Constitution of the State, the State Flag, to demonstrate blameless discipline in service, to fulfill their debenture in accordance with the military regulations and the legislation in force and to know their profession perfectly”, said Minister of Defense.

It should be mentioned that starting with the month of February this year, the military-protocol ceremonies to raising the State Flag will take place at the beginning of the first week of each month, on the plateau of the defense institution.
