CHISINAU, September 29, 2022 — A team of medical instructors from the National Guard of North Carolina of the USA is conducting, with the conscripts and service members from the 22 peacekeeping Battalion "Blue helmets", meetings in the field of medical first aid.

The theoretical and practical sessions, which are organized between September 26 and October 8, aim to familiarize the peacekeepers with new practices and instructions in the field, procedures for granting medical first aid, evacuation with the necessary documentation, as well as an exchange of experience with American colleagues.

The course in the field of medical aid is part of the National Army training plan for 2022. Such training was carried out in previous years in different units, with the involvement of conscripts, sergeants, and officers of the National Army.

Cooperation between the US National Guard of North Carolina and the National Army of the Republic of Moldova started in 1996.
