International exercise “JCET 2024” kicks off at the National Army`s training grounds



CHISINAU, April 1, 2024 — The soldiers of the National Army will train together with their colleagues from Romania and the United States of America (USA) at the multinational exercise “JCET-2024” (Joint Combined Exchange Training).

The training will take place at National Army training centres from 1 to 19 April this year. The aim of the exercise is to jointly train and exchange experience between Moldovan, Romanian and American special forces and to increase the level of interoperability between the participating contingents. Representatives of the State Protection and Security Service and the “Pantera” special-purpose detachment will also take part in this year’s event.

According to the scenario, the military will perform parachuting, advanced combat firing during day and night, mission-specific field training exercises.

“Joint Combined Exchange Training” is conducted in accordance with the National Army’s training plan for 2024.

The soldiers of the Special Assignment Battalion “Fulger” of the National Army participate in the “JCET” since 2009.

NOTE: In the context of the conduct of the exercise “JCET 2024”, military vehicles will move during the period in question from the units to the National Army polygons for training.
